Limo Sets School Record as Four Owls Open Indoor Season in Boston
Four Owls opened their indoor season Saturday at the Sharon Colyear-Danville Season Opener, highlighted by a school record in the men's 5,000 meters. Brian Limo set a Kennesaw State record in the men's 5K, placing 97th in 14:04.46 He was followed by Collins Kipkemboi, who finished 117th in 14:09.79. Emma Sullivan placed second in the elite 800-meter race, clocking 2:03.68 in a field of eight. Britney Chatfield opened the morning with a win in the 800, posting a time of 2:08.49.

Owls Set to Open 2025-26 Indoor Season at Pair of Meets
Kennesaw State opens its 2025–26 indoor track and field season at two different meets this week. 27 KSU jumpers, vaulters and throwers will compete Friday at the Clemson Opener, while 4 KSU distance and mid-distance runners race Saturday in Boston at the Sharon Colyear-Danville Season Opener. The men's pole vault, high jump and shot put will be at the Clemson Indoor Track and Field Center. At the Boston University Track & Tennis Center, Britney Chatfield will run the 800 meters.

Kennesaw State Announces 2025-26
Track and Field Schedule
Kennesaw State director of track and field Cale McDaniel announced the Owls' 2025-26 indoor and outdoor schedule. "Man, this is going to be a fun year for the KSU track and field team," McDaniel said. "There are so many opportunities for us to test ourselves and see how we stack up against the nation's best." The Owls will host the Don McGarey Invitational on March 27-28. KSU opens the indoor campaign at the Clemson Opener on Dec. 5 and the Sharon Colyear Danville Season Opener Dec. 6.

Six Owls Earn CSC Academic
All-District Honors
Kennesaw State track and field landed six student-athletes on the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team, the organization announced Tuesday. Kali Terza, Natalie Cummings, Maya Steines and Laysha Tunti made it on the women's side. Jase Hunter and Chinedum Ike earned a spot on the men's team. Jase Hunter competed in six meets in the weight throw, never finishing worse than 7th. Hunter competed in eight meets in the hammer throw.
