Homestand Continues Wednesday Against ACU
Men's basketball continues a four-game homestand hosting Abilene Christian Wednesday at 7 p.m. in the Convocation Center. It will be streamed live on ESPN+. Wednesday's game is part of the CUSA/WAC Challenge, and both teams are looking for a win in the Challenge after dropping contests in the first week. KSU's freshmen class easily matched the expectations early in the season, as they combined for 75 points.

Making it two-for-two, Adrian Wooley was named Conference USA Men's Basketball Freshman of the Week for a second straight week, the league office announced on Monday afternoon. Wooley is now just the second player in school history to receive multiple Freshman or Newcomer of the Week awards, as Kendrick Ray was named four times in the 2015-16 season by the Atlantic Sun.

Simeon Cottle scored 27 points and Kennesaw State flew out to a 22-4 lead out of the gates and never looked back on the way to an 85-67 victory over Presbyterian Saturday in the Convocation Center. The Owls moved to 3-1 while the Blue Hose dropped to 2-3 overall. This game was decided in the first half as the Owls shot 51.9% from the floor (14-of-27) and a sizzling 53.3% (8-of-15) from three-point range.

Five players scored in double-figures and Kennesaw State set a new school record with 66 rebounds as the Owls flew past Bryan College 94-59 in men's college basketball action on Wednesday night in the Convocation Center. The Owls lived in the paint, outscoring Bryan College by a 44-18 margin. That was also reflected in the team's final field goal percentages, with KSU finishing at 42.4% (36-of-85) while the Lions were just 22-of-75 for 29.3%.

Cal Baptist was awarded a total of 42 free throw attempts in the game.
