Cottle, Wooley Both hit 32 in
112-77 Win
Kennesaw State had two players scored 30 or more points in the same game for the first time in school history (D1 era), while the Owls' scored the second-most points ever as a D1 program in a 112-77 victory over Brewton-Parker on Sunday afternoon in men's college basketball action from the Convocation Center. With the win, the Owls finish their non-conference slate at 8-5 and are a perfect 6-0 at home this season.

A rough shooting night for Kennesaw State put the Owls in an early hole, while KSU was held to just four made field goals over the final 10 minutes in an 89-65 road loss at San Jose State on Saturday night from the Provident Credit Union Event Center. KSU dropped to 7-5 with the loss while the Spartans improved to 7-6. KSU was held to 33.3% shooting (20-of-60) for the night, and were just 7-of-29 from three-point land.

Kennesaw State's backcourt duo of Simeon Cottle and Adrian Wooley teamed up to outscore Georgia State 21-14 by themselves over the final 12 minutes to rally the Owls to an 81-77 victory in a Friday battle between the two Atlanta Metro rivals in the GSU Convocation Center. With their second straight win over the Panthers, and first-ever on GSU's home court, the Owls improved to 7-3.

Kennesaw State used a late 7-0 rally to take a one-point lead with five minutes to play, but Kent State grabbed two key offensive rebounds to hold off the Owls 67-60 on the third day of the Western Slam from the ENMAX Centre. The Owls dropped to 6-3, while Kent State is 6-2 for the season. Kent State held a 16-8 edge on second chance points and 14-6 on points off turnovers. The Owls finished with 17 turnovers and were outrebounded 43-40.

The Owls moved to 6-2 on the year with the win, the first-time in school history they have won six games in the month of November, and 1-1 in the Western Slam, while Towson dropped to 4-4 overall.
