Kennesaw State's Brian Bohannon Optimistic Ahead of First FBS Season
To kick-off Conference USA Media Day, the first team to take the stage were the Kennesaw State Owls- the newest official members of Conference USA. "There's a lot of excitement, a lot of buzz around our campus and community about this opportunity," said head coach Brian Bohannon in his opening statement. "We're excited about it as well."

Four Owls Named to CUSA Preseason Watch List
Ahead of its first season in Conference USA. KSU placed four members to the CUSA preseason watch list. Gabriel Benyard, Ethan Newman, Sidney Porter, and Pooda Walker represented the Owls. Benyard was named to both the Offense and Special Teams watch lists. Newman joined him on the offensive side, while Porter and Walker represented the defense.

Kennesaw State is slated to have five games of its inaugural Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) schedule air nationally after the Mountain West Conference released broadcast info. Nine Owls Earn Athlon Preseason All-CUSA Team Honors
Nine players were tabbed to Athlon Sports' Preseason All-Conference USA Team. Redshirt jr. Gabriel Benyard earned three picks including second team punt returner, third team kick returner and fourth team RB honors. On the third team was RB Michael Benefield, DL Donovan Westmoreland and Jordan Miles and LB Garland Benyard. TE Carson Kent was the fourth team.

Conference USA Officially Welcomes Kennesaw State as 10th Member
Conference USA welcomes KSU as the league’s 10th member with Monday marking their official start in the conference. The Owls compete in 18 sports, 17 of which will compete in CUSA. Only women's lacrosse will remain in the ASUN. “This is a monumental day for Kennesaw State, and we are proud to be members of Conference USA,” said Director of Athletics Milton Overton.

Single-Game Tickets On Sale for First FBS Season
Single-game ticket sales for KSU's 2024 football season are now available for purchase. The Owls will play their first season as members of Conference USA and the Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) this fall with a 12-game slate, including six home games. The first FBS home game will be under the lights inside Fifth Third Stadium against the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns.

KSU Spring Football Game A Success On Friday Night
Several players stood out in Kennesaw State football's annual spring game Friday night at Fifth Third Stadium. Early on, DB Isaac Paul picked up a fumble and took it 86 yards for a touchdown. QB Davis Bryson got some attention with a pair of TD runs. A third quarter interception by LB Garland Benyard prevented a score. RB D.J. Scott also picked up a touhdown.

Kennesaw State Football Reveals 2025 Big Ten Matchup at Indiana
Kennesaw State football and the Indiana University have agreed to a non-conference matchup in Bloomington scheduled for the 2025 season on Sept. 6. It will be the first in series history between the two programs and will mark KSU's first competition against a Big Ten football opponent. The Owls officially join the FBS on July 1, 2024 in Conference USA.
