Kennesaw State pitcher Braden Osbolt was selected 174th overall in the sixth round of the 2025 Major League Baseball First Year Player Draft Monday afternoon by the Cincinnati Reds. Osbolt's selection marks the 17th-consecutive year an Owl has been drafted, not counting the shortened 2020 MLB Draft. His junior campaign was cut short due to injury, but he made his mark on the hill throughout his Owl career.

Sporting a monumental, record-breaking season, Donovan Cash earned a spot on the ABCA/Rawlings Southeast All-Region Second Team. Cash put together a season that bested his All-American freshman year in 2022. Leading Conference USA in doubles (23), Cash has demolished numerous DI career records for the Owls, including home runs, RBI (All-Time),
doubles and total bases.
Smith Pinson and Donovan Cash secured Kennesaw State's first Conference USA baseball All-Tournament Team honors.
Pinson was astounding in his start vs FIU, tossing the first nine-inning complete game shutout for an Owl since 2017 in the 8-0 victory over FIU. He threw 10 innings of scoreless ball while compiling six punch-outs. The seniors' outing was the first time since 2022 that
C-USA saw a complete game in the championship.
