Owls Finish Tied for Second in ASUN With Senior Day Win Over E. Kentucky
The Kennesaw State women's tennis team concluded their regular season with a 7-0 victory over Eastern Kentucky on Sunday afternoon. The Owls finished their season going undefeated at home with a 7-0 record for the first time in program history. KSU finished in a five-way tie for second in the Atlantiic Sun Conference regular season standings. Kennesaw State secured all six matches in the singles competition to claim victory.

To collect the doubles match point, Taylor Dean and Ema Barianakova defeated Marika Caruk and Yeva Kramarova 6-4, while Sofia Madrid and Izabelle Persson defeated Erica Hagi and Lillie Willis 6-2.

While Sophia Unger and Ivana Gresvoa defeated Asia Fontana and Yu-Hua Cheng, 6-3 on court three.

The Kennesaw State women's tennis team concluded weekend play with a matchup against FGCU. The Owls fell short 5-2 against the Eagles on Saturday afternoon. FGCU jumped out in the singles competition obtaining five single match points to claim the win. Sophomore Sofia Madrid had a strong performance defeating Paloma Goldsmith 4-6, 7-5, 6-4 on court three. The Owls will continue their season on the road in Tennessee on Friday, Apr. 5 taking on Austin Peay.
