Watkins' Overtime Goal Propels Owls to Win Over Queens
Women's lacrosse won its first ever overtime game in school history in dramatic fashion on Thursday, beating the Queens University Royals 8-7. The Owls improve to 6-4, besting last season's win total and the most since 2022. Lavona Watkins stepped up big for the Owls with three draw controls and two goals, including the overtime game winner. Caleigh Shore and Lexi Tinker also scored two goals each, with Shore tacking on an assist.

Owls Falter Against No. 7 Florida
Kennesaw State women's lacrosse fell to No. 7 Florida, 22-7 on Saturday. The loss ends the four-game win streak and drops the Owls to 5-4 on the year,
while No. 7 Florida improves to 6-2.
KEY PLAYERS: Lexi Tinker once again led the way for the Owls on offense, scoring three goals and two assists. Lavona Watkins had another all-around performance, scoring a goal, scooping up a ground ball, causing a turnover, and securing five draw controls.
Owls Win Third Straight in 19-6 Rout Over Delaware State
Kennesaw State women's lacrosse trounced 0-6 Delaware State 19-6, in a game with three different Owls score their first career goals. Monday's win marks the first time the Owls have had a winning record in the month of March since 2024. 10 different players had at least one goal; Sophia Nunez was dominant again securing 12. Lexi Tinker, Caleigh Shore, and Natalie Charyak each scored three goals, with Tinker adding on three assists.

Owls Drop Home Match Against Mercer
Kennesaw State women's lacrosse suffered an 18-5 loss at the hands of Mercer on Wednesday afternoon after being shut out in the first half. KSU fell to 1-3 on the year, while Mercer notched its first win to also reach 1-3. KEY PLAYERS: Lauren Dobbs continues to shine on defense for the Owls, with five groundballs and four caused turnovers. Lavona Watkins led the way offensively again, scoring a pair of goals on the day. Sophia Nunez also got on the board, scoring her first career goal.
