Haugh Finishes Sixth in Hammer Throw at 2023 World Championships
Assistant coach and former Owl Daniel Haugh finished his run in the hammer throw at the World Athletics Championships Saturday at National Athletics Centre. Haugh finished sixth in the event with a season-best toss of 78.64m (258'0"). Haugh earned his spot in the final on Friday, finishing sixth in Group A with a 76.64m (251'5") mark.

Owls Welcome 45 in 2023 Signing Class
KSU Track and Field and Cross Country announced the 2023 signing class with 31 women and 14 men. The class is highlighted by multiple state champions, a U20 National Champion and an Adidas Indoor National Champion with athletes from Georgia, South Carolina, Alabama, Tennessee, Florida, Nebraska, New Zealand, New Jersey, Massachusetts and North Carolina.

Owls Set to Compete in Penultimate ASUN Outdoor Championships
The Kennesaw State track and field teams are set to compete at the ASUN Conference Outdoor Championships at Visit Jax Track at Hodges Stadium in Jacksonville, Fla. May. 11-13. The men's team will be looking to collect its 10th conference title while the women will look to add their fourth to the trophy case.

Owls Set School Record and Win One Event at East Coast Relays
The Kennesaw State track and field teams finished regular season competition at the East Coast Relays at Visit Jax Track at Hodges Stadium on Saturday. Quann Shears had a personal-best toss of 62.86m (206'2) to grab third in the javelin. Kaylee Clark won the women's javelin with a toss of 45.42m (149'00).

Georgia Tech Invitational
The Kennesaw State track and field teams continued the outdoor season at the Georgia Tech Invitational on Friday at the George C. Griffin Track. Nicholas Mabilo was victorious in the 100m in a time of 10.26 seconds. Justin Campbell took 16th in the long jump with a leap of 6.60m (21'8").
