Tianni Kelly Named Kennesaw State Women's Basketball Head Coach
Tianni Kelly has been named the 9th head coach in KSU women's basketball history, pending university background check and USG approval. Kelly takes over after spending the past two seasons as the associate head coach at Chattanooga, helping the Mocs to a regular season championship and a pair of postseason appearances. Prior to that, she had a 10-year stint at the Division II level as both an assistant coach and head coach.

KSU Announces Leadership Change in Women’s Basketball Program
KSU Director of Athletics Milton Overton announced that Octavia Blue has concluded her tenure as head coach of the women's basketball program. Overton determined that a change in leadership was necessary. A national search for the next head coach will begin immediately, with Parker Executive Search assisting in the process. Blue led the Owls for five seasons, compiling an overall record of 61–89 and a 35–51 mark in conference play spanning the Atlantic Sun and Conference USA.

Owls Fall to Delaware in CUSA First Round
No. 9 seed Kennesaw State's season came to an end with a 66-47 loss to No. 8 seed Delaware at the 2026 Air National Guard Conference USA Women's Basketball Championship first round on Tuesday afternoon at Propst Arena. The Owls shot 32% from the field to the Fightin' Blue Hens 43. While outrebounding UD 38-37, KSU fell short in paint scoring (26-36) and second-chance points (6-12). In an 18-point loss, 21 Blue Hen points came on 19 Owl turnovers. TaTianna Stovall and Shania Nichols led KSU in scoring with 17 and 10 points, respectively.

Owls Go Cold, Fall to NM State
Kennesaw State women's basketball was unable to overcome cold shooting and turnover trouble in a 52-40 defeat to New Mexico State on Thursday night at the Pan American Center. The Owls' loss, coupled with UTEP's 66-64 win over Jax State on Thursday, sends KSU (12-15, 5-11) to 11th in the Conference USA standings. The top 10 teams in the league advance to the 2026 Air National Guard CUSA Women's Basketball Championship held March 10-14 at Propst Arena in Huntsville, Alabama.
