Spencer Hanson was selected as the ASUN Conference Player of the Week after a dominant series over Florida Gulf Coast, the conference announced Monday. The award marks the second ASUN weekly accolade for the Owls' designated hitter and is the third for KSU on the season.

Tied 3-3 in the final frame, Lipscomb plated one run in the ninth inning to defeat Kennesaw State, 4-3, Sunday at Dugan Field. After today's results, the Owls (22-24, 12-12 ASUN Conference) and Bisons (27-21, 18-6 ASUN) are tied at 27 wins apiece in the all-time series that dates back to 2007.
