Rivera Cements KSU's First Soccer
All-Conference Postseason Award
Forward Tianna Rivera notched women's soccer first ever postseason CUSA All-Conference honor with a second team nod. The accolade marks the 6th of her career while being her third post-season All-Conference award between the ASUN and CUSA. The graduate led the team in goals scored with 8, tied for 5th in CUSA while 6 goals came vs CUSA opponents. Her 7 scores were the most of any Owl since Macie Rainwater.

Liberty Loss
An aggressive Liberty attack took down the Owls Friday night with a 4-0 final at Osborne Stadium, eliminating the Owls from CUSA postseason contention. Coach "We knew we had to chase the game before we even kicked-off to make the tournament," said Chris Cahill. "An early mistake made us push more players forward and it exposed us to more risk. Liberty has proven why they are the standard in the conference."

For the first time in program history, Kennesaw State earned Conference USA weekly awards with Tianna Rivera winning offensive and Charlee Bernal winning goalkeeper of the week, the league office announced Tuesday. Although it's Rivera's first CUSA award, she has accrued five combined conference honors between CUSA and the Atlantic Sun Conference. It's the graduate's third player of the week award in her career.

Boasting a lethal attack, the Owls on senior day, took down the undefeated FIU Panthers 3-0 Sunday afternoon at Fifth Third Stadium. FIU's only other losses came versus Miami, Stetson and Oklahoma. KSU became the first team in Conference USA to defeat the Panthers who were the last unbeaten CUSA squad. The three goals showcased the highest scoring single game for Kennesaw State this season.
