Owls Receive ASUN Indoor Championship Rings
The Kennesaw State men's and women's track and field programs received their 2024 ASUN Indoor Championship rings during a recent team meeting. The teams earned first-place finishes at the ASUN Outdoor Championships. The KSU men's team collected its 10th team title while the women's team collected its 4th. KSU is the only men's program to have won 10 outdoor track and field team titles in ASUN Conference history.

Owls Ink 36 in 2024 Signing Class
Kennesaw State Director of Track and Field and Cross Country Cale McDaniel announced the Owls' 2024 signing class on Tuesday. KSU welcomed 19 men and 17 women to campus on Aug. 12. The class is highlighted by multiple state champions, a Gatorade Athlete of the Year and an Adidas Outdoor National Champion. The class features athletes from Georgia, Texas, Oklahoma, Kenya, Alabama, Florida, South Carolina and Ohio. "I am fired up about this group of young people joining our program," McDaniel said.

Conference USA Officially Welcomes Kennesaw State as 10th Member
Conference USA welcomes Kennesaw State as the league’s 10th member with Monday marking their official start in the conference.
The Owls compete in 18 sports, 17 of which will compete in CUSA.
Only women's lacrosse will remain in the ASUN.
“This is a monumental day for Kennesaw State University, and we are proud to be members of Conference USA,” said Director of Athletics Milton Overton.
Haugh Wins Hammer Throw to Qualify for Summer Olympics
Former Owl and current assistant coach Daniel Haugh qualified for the Olympics in the hammer throw finishing first in the finals at the U.S. Olympic Trials on Sunday at Hayward Field. "Champions are going to do what champions do," director of Track and Field Cale McDaniel said. "It is unbelievable to have Daniel at our facility working with Coach Mike every day." Haugh had three throws of over 72.00m in the final. His second throw landed at 76.10m (249'8).

Owls Conclude Season at NCAA First Rounds Friday
Anthony Harrison and Justin Campbell of the Kennesaw State competed Friday in the NCAA East First Rounds at the Kentucky Outdoor Track and Field Complex. The Owls 2024 season came to an end on Friday evening. Harrison finished 18th in the discus with a mark of 55.05m (180'7"). Campbell finished 36th in the triple jump with a leap of 15.11m (49'7"). "Not the way we wanted it to end just yet, but I couldn't be more proud of the journey," said Director Cale McDaniel.
